Give Kids A Smile®

Give Kids A Smile with child patient.

The Give Kids A Smile® (GKAS) program, launched nationally in 2003, is the ADA Foundation’s signature access to care program.

Each year approximately 6,500 dentists and 20,000 dental team members volunteer at local GKAS events to provide free oral health education, screenings, and preventive and restorative treatment to approximately 300,000 underserved children.

Give Kids A Smile Day, celebrated annually on the first Friday in February, serves as the official kick-off for all GKAS events held throughout the year at various locations across the U.S.

Find an event happening near you through the GKAS State Summary Report and learn more about Give Kids A Smile by visiting the ADA Foundation website.
